The importance of heritage craft to UK history

Heritage craft is woven into the fabric of UK history. Long before factories or national supply life depended on skilled hands, local materials and knowledge based down through generations. Crafts didn't just make objects they shaped communities, identities and landscapes. Each craft has its own story and its own deep connection to the landscape around it. This is why I am capturing and exploring the history of many heritage crafts to preserve their stories for future generations.
