About Lavender Bee

Lavender Bee celebrates heritage craft, nature in motion and the rhythm of each season through photography. Documenting traditional skills, seasonal gardens, and outdoor family life. Creating timeless images deeply connected to the land. Whether photographing makers, working with nature led brands or capturing children and families in the wild, each image is captured to celebrate that singular moment in time which can never be again.

Our Vision

Capturing and preserving special moments.

Whether it's documenting childhood or a flower in peak bloom, every moment is a beauty that we cannot regain but we can document for our memories, as heirlooms to be looked back upon in the future.

Our vision is to celebrate these special moments and preserve them, focused on nature and each season as a slow celebration of life.

My Journey

For years, I’ve wandered fields and gardens, camera in hand, capturing the quiet rhythms of nature and craft. Enjoying the growth of each season in my garden and looking at the history of each craft and how that impacts our history as humans and as a local area.

When my own children came along in 2018 I started to capture their beautiful moments of development and growth while seeing each season come and go. The rhythm of each year seemed to bring with it joy, sadness and excitement as one stage ended and another began.

As my children have grown, I have spent more time attached to my camera and slowing down life to celebrate each moment.
